You've probably heard the term email marketing plenty of times before, and you've more than likely seen it being used by all kinds of businesses. Your favorite companies have more than likely sent you a message telling you about a product. This is email marketing in its purest form. Does this sound like something you would want to use? If it is, then continue reading.

The beginning and conclusion of your marketing email should include a call to action for your customers. Be clear about what you want your customer to do, and include at least two obvious links to your site. Use clear suggestions that direct your customers to the offer your email is promoting.

When emailing clients, try following up with a free warranty on your products or services. You could insert an order on the email that tells them to get this warranty immediately. The ending P.S. could tell them to act now and not to miss this incredible opportunity to try out something they may love.

Test sending your email marketing on different days of the week and at various times during the day. You'll find that different times and dates will increase or decrease your open rates to your emails. Note the best time/day of the week mixtures and plan your most important email marketing campaigns to be released during those windows. Personally I have found that 8.30am US Eastern time works very well in many markets.

Provide subscribers with a way out. To comply with CAN Spam regulations, you must place an "unsubscribe" link in your emails to allow people to remove themselves from your list. You should also set up your list to cull itself by removing subscribers after a particular number of messages prompt no response or action from the recipient. This prevents your emails from becoming annoying to disinterested subscribers and preserves your image.

Maximize the results of your email marketing by encouraging your readers to respond to every email. Always read and reply to these emails immediately. Building a personal relationship with each of your readers is the best way to convert them into loyal customers. This is also a good way to get more specific feedback on the success of your efforts.

While there are many strategies to finding the targeted customers, the best option is to let them sign up via your website, growing the campaign as your business and sales grow as well. You could even lists buy an email list, but always remember customers on your site need to be targeted customers.

Try following up with a product review when sending a follow-up email to your clients. You could insert a link onto your email that informs them to enroll by clicking on this link. The ending P.S. on the message could urge them to take advantage of this opportunity that you are providing them.

Branding is something that extends throughout your business, even down to email marketing. Because of this, you need to create a template that will let you incorporate your company colors, fonts and logos that you use on all of your marketing materials. By doing so, you can make your emails recognizable to your readers and make use of any preexisting familiarity they have with your company.
