Exhibits bactericidal activity against staphylococci, streptococci, gram-negative bacteria (Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia sticks, Proteus, Klebsiella, etc.), anaerobic bacteria, fungi and molds. Acts on bacterial strains that are resistant to antibiotics and other chemotherapeutic drugs; inhibits plasma coagulase and hyaluronidase of staphylococci. Indications: For external use only. Solution of Pharmatex is used for: primary wound treatment, prevention of secondary infection of wounds by hospital strains of microorganisms (injury of soft and bone tissue, burns), festering wounds, drainage of bone cavities following surgery for osteomyelitis. Pharmatex creams and gels - superficial thermal burns, trophic ulcers, long-term healing process of soft tissues wounds (including infected wounds), purulent-inflammatory diseases of the skin in background of diabetes mellitus; abscess. For intravag*inal use - local contraception for women of reproductive age (in women with contraindications to the use of oral contraceptives or IUDs, postpartum period, lactation, period after abortion, premenopausal period; the need of occasional protection from pregnancy, omission or delay in receiving consistently used oral hormonal contraceptives) , washing the bladder, urethra, seborrheic dermatitis, vaginal irrigation. Disinfection of medical devices. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity, dermatitis, cancer of the skin, bleeding wound.
