Born in Scotland but brought up by the banks of the River Mersey in England. A love of Scotland and my family brought me back to the land of my birth more than twenty year ago where I believed they would all benefit from the quiet countryside of village life. A life long lover of Scottish history, football and dogs in no particular order, my family and I have been privilaged enough to enjoy the company of several dogs. You can see standing along side of me on my photograph the dog who we foolishly think belongs to us, when the fact of the matter is, we belong to her. She is a rescue dog who came into our lives about four years ago. After being in the work place for many years, we found our lives turned around, and much for the better, after I was made redundant. I am lucky enough to work alongside my wife - and dog, in a beautiful part of the country. We have many web sites which we have created on several topics. From golf to fancy dress, from lingerie to masquerade masks. Our extended family include two children who together with their partners have given us some beautiful grandchildren, with one still waiting to arrive. I enjoy reading and writing, and hope you enjoy reading my articles.
