Kartar was trained by some of the best, including Master Larry Sang, founder of the American Feng Shui Institute and Kartar has since become one of the Institute's senior graduate instructors.
Kartar has been consulting since 1992 and has thousands of case studies which she has drawn from to write her books. Feng Shui for Skeptics: Real Solutions Without Superstition was published in 2004 and The Feng Shui Matrix: Another Way to Inherit the Earth came out in 2006. Kartar's third book, The Feng Shui Continuum: A Blueprint for Balanced Living was published in 2008. Workbooks for each book will be available soon. Whether it is a baby clothing store or a Hotel Casino, a studio apartment or a mansion, any property can be assessed for its affects on the occupants. Feng Shui and the OctoMom
A woman in Southern California gave birth to Octuplets early in 2009, only for the public to soon find out that she already had six other young children at home. At once I was reminded of the nursery rhyme about how “there once was a woman who lived in a shoe; she h...

94. Feng Shui Interprets the Garden
November 05, 2008
There is hardly a Top-10 List of Do's and Don'ts when it comes to feng shui advice, and that includes exterior landscaping, because every property truly is unique. In fact, possibly the only universal feng shui-garden truth would be: No dead or dying plants. As an extension of that, if a diseased tr...

95. Feng Shui Interprets the Center of Your House
November 05, 2008
While reading Mary Roach's book "Stiff" I learned a new term, which is "live cadaver." Seemingly a contradiction, the live cadaver is a person who has been pronounced brain dead, but their heart is still beating and it can be "harvested" swiftly for use as a heart transplant. Her book then goes on...

Feng Shui is a predictive art and a very mysterious topic. One way in which feng shui has "gotten its foot in the door" over the last few decades, and as a way to reach the mainstream public, is by authors and practitioners associating it with organizing and de-cluttering. As the popular saying goes...

It is estimated that about 40 million Americans work in office cubicles, nearly 60% of the white-collar work force.
