The following simple tips will help to determine the skill level of a recruiting agency. 1 Do they have a website which describes they recruit in your sector 2 Do they have jobs on their site that change daily in your chosen field 3 Can you register with them simply via the web, via your Facebook etc 4 Can you get regular job updates from them 5 Will they meet you and discuss your needs 6 Do they have a charter or rules they follow for dealing with you 7 Do they have any industry accreditations 8 Have they any recent testimonials about their work 9 Do they have offices in the location you wish to work 10 Can you easily identify their staff 11 Can you easily connect with their staff 12 If your going to temp for them how do they handle timesheets, payroll etc 13 Are they insured and how do they protect you form loss of income if temping with clients who do not pay 14 Do they seem to remember you and what your looking for 15 Do they offer advice, is it free and is it of any use 16 Would you use them again 17 Would you tell a friend to use them 18 Would you use them to recruit Clearly the quality of a recruiter is measured by their success in placing you, and if you are a temp.
