What is for certain is that the best place for an eBook is dependent on the niche it is on and the target audience you are attempting to attract. Digital products are easy to acquire and copy. These large sites follow all the common copyright laws and will ban sellers that infringe upon them. The most common place to sell your eBooks is on your own website. This is where you can receive the maximum profit potential for your product. It is also the place that will require you to do the most work. Not only does your site have to be set up to receive credit card and PayPal payments, but then there is the advertising campaign you must undertake. The advertising campaign is not like running an ad in the local newspaper anymore. Today the need to write content articles about your eBook is a must. Then this content must be placed on sites and made available to the public where the target audience frequents. The establishment of links is very important but this path is the most profitable one for the generation of a revenue stream if the appropriate amount of effort is placed into its creation. The word of mouth is no longer really a viable option since the digital world has taking over. Today this form of selling has been replaced by the word of Twitter, text messages on Facebook and other like social mediums.
