Wheels cycling team Cal State Long Beach and the club run again after two years of absence. It is a passion for cycling that led the co-chairs and Michelle Gilbert Perez Villegas, with the Vice-President and Treasurer Ryan Mason, to boost cycling team of 10 members and a cycling club of 30 members in November . Villegas, a leading young man Kinesiology has been cycling for four years, said his passion began when he bought a bike off of Craigslist with the money he earned working as a barista at Starbucks . "I thought a club team would be alive and well when I moved CSULB last fall," said Villegas. "There's something on the bike that is not comparable to any other sport, and I think everyone is talking about cycling when they are young, but when you come back on and ride again, there is a feeling to be free, and you, because you love it. " Villegas said he tried to get in touch with other people who might be interested in cycling and finally found Perez and Mason, who shared the same interest in creating a club and the team. USA Cycling announced the proposed routes for the course 2013 Volkswagen USA Cycling Professional Road and Time Trial National Championships and the USA Cycling National Criterium Championship in hand, to be held May 25 to 27 in Chattanooga, Tennessee . The announcement was made at a press conference Wednesday at the Volkswagen plant in Chattanooga. This is the first year that Chattanooga will host the event which will be an annual event in the city until 2015, Volkswagen of America, Inc. as title sponsor. "The city of Chattanooga and the surrounding area offers USA Pro Cycling Road and TT National Championships with the ideal competitive landscape and a turbulent history of cycling and support the community and society outstanding," said USA Cycling President and Chief Officer Steve Johnson. "We look forward to exciting races in Chattanooga over the next three years and I am very proud to have Volkswagen as our title sponsor of this spectacular event." The road races will start with 5.1 miles from downtown Chattanooga circuit, a circuit for women and three for men. The riders will face a cycle of 14.1 miles long that takes platoons south away from the center of Lookout Mountain and then loop up in the center of Chattanooga, with 750 meters of elevation at every turn. The men will complete five laps along, while women are three rounds. 5.1 miles from the opening circuit will again be used to finish each race with men and women covering the three circuits time to run their conclusions. Spectators will see the riders cross the start / finish area during the men's race 11 times and seven times in the women's race.
