The meaning is simple, and it is applicable to a variety of sports activities. Any exercise which energizes the heart to pump more blood in the internal organs and tissues bears the name of cardiovascular training. It might be running, jogging, stairway climbing, simple aerobic, step aerobic, swimming, quick strolling, cycling, hiking, rope jumping and several more.
