There are a lot of videos on YouTube about friendships between people and animals. |
There’s a channel called The Dodo that constantly puts out those types of videos. It’s a good place to go to if you want to watch happy content.
But there was one video I watched where it showcased people’s friendships with animals that you wouldn’t expect people to have friendships with.
In 2014, Mexico banned exotic animals from performing in circuses. That’s when a man named Adolfo started a wildlife sanctuary to save lions.
One particular lion, named Kiara, grew fond of Adolfo since he took care of her ever since she was a baby. Later on, she had to move to a different facility, separating her from Adolfo for seven years.
But when Adolfo went to the facility to visit Kiara, the sanctuary workers were surprised to see that Kiara still remembered Adolfo and gave him a big hug.
There was another clip where a Japanese man bought a caiman (A creature that resembles a crocodile) and kept him as a pet for over 34 years. He even admitted that he loves the caiman more than he loves his wife. Over the years, they formed an unexpected unbreakable bond.
And of course, these bonds don’t just form out of nowhere.
These people cared for the animals as if they were their own children. They fed them, they made sure they were safe and healthy, and they played with them too sometimes.
Eventually, their relationships grew so strong to the point where the animals remembered their caretakers no matter how much time passed by.
And that’s the same approach to take if you want to have a strong relationship with the people on your email list.
And no, I’m not saying to treat them like animals.
I’m talking about interacting with them regularly, feeding their minds with your knowledge and expertise, and actually caring for them.
The best way to do that?
Emailing them on a consistent basis using the methods I teach in How to Become an Email Titan.
