A few weeks ago I was having coffee in my front yard having a pretty relaxing Sunday. A young family was going for a neighborhood stroll and one of their young children ran up to one of my Dutch Iris, pointed at it, and screamed "Wow, pretty!" Frankly, I think he could not have summed up the Dutch Iris any better. It is strikingly pretty and looks like the flower equivalent of a dragon, but has plenty of other benefits too.
