For many years Titleist have been producing some fantastic performing golf clubs for sale, which are well understated in design. Titleist are simply focused on using cutting edge technology to build clubs which perform beautifully, its easy to see why these clubs are chosen by a huge number of professionals on the circuit. Gardiner, who has made four cuts in 15 starts this year on the PGA Tour, showed up at The Lakes Golf & Country Club early Monday morning without equipment, as his clubs were lost on his flight the previous night. Faced with few options, the Tour rookie worked quickly with club employees to assemble a makeshift set of clubs in advance of his 8:10 a.m. starting time. The Titleist MB 712 irons maintain the classic look, lines, profile, sound and feel of the classic Titleist forged irons, but add modern playability. A thin, but soft top-line and rounder profile create a traditional but contemporary look, whilst a minimal progressive offset improves the set-up appeareance and improves control. When standing over the ball the club looks nice, there is zero offset, you are instantly going to feel confident with these clubs. Shots from these irons feel very soft and controlled, the shape of the trajectory is good, a nice true flight, very much what you would expect from cheap CB 712 irons. You won’t get any help from these irons, as with any irons you need to be doing all the hard work yourselves, these aren’t a forgiving set of irons. Hitting the green on your approach shots are a given as a low handicap gofer, you will want a club that allows you to shape your desired shot to the green based on your approach and also a club that allows you to control your spin, this is where the Titleist MB 712′s come in to their own. these are a set of blade irons that you want to be seriously considering. To sum up, this is a very traditional blade and performs very well provided you hit it out of the middle and this is where things get a little sticky as the sweet spot is quite small and the forgiveness is pretty minimal, so at least you get great feedback on how well or otherwise you have hit it.
